rod and reels allowed. Line must be 130 lb or less.
No snapper rig will be allowed on boats
Hours of fishing will be 4pm until 2am, both nights.
Boats may not leave the dock earlier than 12 noon.
All hook-ups must be reported to the tournament control by radio,
phone or satellite phone. (Controll # provided at registration)
All fish boated or released must be reported to the tournament
controll by radio or phone.
All boats must bring their boated fish or photos of releases to
the weigh station.
Releases must be verified by a photo of the fish which includes
the daily T-shirt. Each additional fish photographed must be preceded
by a photo of the angler. Cameras will be provided by the tournament.
This is a team boat tournament. The rod may be passed from angler
to angler.
All fish must be a minimum of 48 inches from the fork of the tail
to the tip of the lower jaw. No boat will keep more than two fish.
All others must be released.
Awards will be given for the best total weight of max two fish,
heaviest single fish and most releases.
Baits must be rigged with no more than two single hooks, both of
which must be secured to the bait. No double hooks allowed
Each boat must have a team captain. The team captain will be responsible
for registration and payment of fees. All cash prizes will be paid
to the team captain.
The weigh station opens at 2am. The weigh master will be available
(on call) for any fish hooked before the close of the tournament
and arrives at the weigh station before 5pm.
In the event of a tie, the prize will be awarded to the first fish
caught or released.
Weather rule; Winds above 15knots will cancel the evenings fishing.
If Friday and Saturday fishing is canceled, then Sunday evening
will be fished as a make up evening. If weather cancels 2 evenings
fishing, then 1 evening will constitute a successful tournament
